BELMONTE
Small garden located within a historical context of great value on the hills of Florence.
The property is the result of the division of a large Medici villa into many residential units.
In this particular case the residence was obtained from what was once the water cistern of the main villa.
The client wanted something related to the historical period of the villa, creating at the same time an intimate and romantic atmosphere.
The goal was to create an environment full of picturesque views, with blosoms and scents planting, to bring the guest back in time. A fairy place accessible through a green tunnel leading to the main garden with a surprize effect.
The space is also enriched with furnitures typical of classic gardens, such as iron and wooden pergolas, tea tables and traditional decorations.
Stone elements, previously used in the oil mill of the villa, are here re adapted as pedestal for pots and plants, classic elements of the Tuscan Medici gardens.
