CAVOUR
In the heart of Florence Piazza San Marco, located in a historic building, a receptive environment is created, that aims to accommodate high-level tourist customers.
The project develops in the internal courtyard of the building, a small green area surrounded by the surrounding heritage architecture.
The project target is to maximize the usage of the space in between the historic buildings, offering a multifunctional platform to host the various activities that will be offered to the guests, from breakfast to an evening drinks.
The goal is to focus the guest’s attention inwards by enclosing him in a comfortable and familiar place that offers corners of peace and tranquility.
The use of warm and traditional materials such as wood is proposed with contemporary geometric shapes. Elements and furnishings with a contemporary design blend harmoniously with historical pieces such as the large marble bathtub, recovered and restored and placed in the center of the access staircase.
The desired result is that of an exclusive, dynamic, elegant and reserved environment.
