VILLA PARADISO
Property with a great artistic value, located on the hills of Siena, in the heart of Tuscany.
The project target was the restoration in a contemporary way of the villa garden dated from the 15th century.
The design key elements used during the process: few remaining parts of the original garden, an accurate work of research and consolidation, the current needs of the client and actual architectural facade od the building. These elements led us to choose the style of the Renaissance garden as a historical period of reference.
The project aims to combine elements such as history and actual functional needs, in a delicate balance between the parts.
The facade regains its importance thanks to the new central walkway made by hand-made bricks from a local furnace.
The garden is composed by new formal macro geometries (topiary art) almost invisible from a pedestrian view, but fully appreciated from the living room located on the first floor of the villa.
